Sophia Ehrnrooth is a visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Her media of expression are photography, performative installation, media art and painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehrnrooth\u2019s artistic practice addresses communal processes and issues pertaining to empathy, play as a reparative act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her performative installations in public spaces, she invites public participation through a guided personal process. In her media art, she both witnesses and engages in a dialogue with her documentary subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehrnrooth graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 1990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
