Quienes somos
Sophia Ehrnrooth es una artista visual con sede en Helsinki, Finlandia.
La práctica artística de Ehrnrooth aborda procesos comunitarios y cuestiones relacionadas con la empatía, el juego como acto reparador.
En sus instalaciones performativas en espacios públicos, invita a la participación pública a través de un proceso personal guiado. Sus medios de expresión son la fotografía, el video, los ready-mades y la pintura. En su arte mediático, ella es testigo y entabla un diálogo con sus sujetos documentales.
El próximo proyecto internacional de Ehrnrooth será la tercera edición de Sueño de Campeonato (Field of Dreams), una instalación performativa del tamaño de un estadio en un espacio público que se realizará en Montevideo, Uruguay, en abril de 2023.

Ehrnrooth se graduó en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Finlandia en 1990.
